This New House

Welcome to,
Witch Hazel Cottage. The building site is located in a valley on a plateau overlooking Bungee Brook. This land has been in our family for generations and continues to be farmed. Paul Wakely Builders is making this house - "Our Home".
I can't say enough about Paul Wakely Builders.
Paul, his wife Sharon and their team (Jeff & Matt) are building our DREAM HOME and have made it the most pleasant experience thus far.
Hope you enjoy the album.

They dropped "The Bar!"

Since the beginning of American Idol 2004 the judges have been telling us, "We're raising the bar." This was obviously a truly cruel joke on the contestants and the viewers of this years American Idol. I have never been a "Reality TV" or "TV Pageant" viewer, and for me this was a betrayal of my faith in Fox Networks.
Simon, if he wants to be critical, should look closely at his show and the process of elimination. [More]

Garth, meaning "Grounds Keeper",
was my male Rottweiler. He was born January 14, 1994. Garth was the first and only dog I have owned and while the responsibility of being his care taker was enormous - the rewards were even greater! Garth passed away January 22, 2002 from:
Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia (IMHA)
or Autoimmune hemolytic anemia (AIHA)
Garth was a loyal and trustworthy companion his whole life. He filled my life with love and joy. To know him was to love him, he would lick you to death. Garth loved company, whether you were visiting him or not, you ended up visiting him. His tongue was always hanging out. He never like to be alone, so were you went he went. His Favorite words were: FLASHLIGHT, LASKA, GIRLFRIEND, BOAT RIDE, and always COOKIE. [More] |
Fright Fest 2004
It will Make Your Soul Scream!
Fright Fest is the brainchild of my cousin Glen and wife Patty Carlson. Glen and Patty live in Putnam, Connecticut surrounded by industrial property. Their location almost guaranteed no Trick-Or-Treaters, until they decorated a room in their house and invited friends and coworkers to bring their children for an evening.
Seventeen years later that small evening in one room has grow to become - FRIGHT FEST - a haunted trail that rivals anything in the area. There is NO CHARGE to enter, but a donation of pet food or a pet supply item for a local animal shelter is appreciated.
With nearly 40 volunteers and a warehouse of props and decorations Fright Fest is a must see event. Always the weekend before Halloween. [More] |
